Friday 9 December 2011: Gifts
This was the day for our staff Christmas party! We were to be joined by two ex-staff, but at the last minute they couldn't manage to come. Never mind, we had a good night out at one of the town's Chinese Restaurants, being a jeweller, I had to chose one called Platinum.
A secret Santa gift isn't very secret when there are only three of us, especially when one of us left hers at home!
Another gift was given today, a poinsettia from The Daughters, ready for The Mother's birthday tomorrow. She already knows about her other presents so this was a nice surprise, especially as she won't be doing much to decorate her home for Christmas. "Put it in the window" she said," where everyone can see it!" I'm putting on blip so THEY can see it - they will just have to imagine the rich red colour!
