Apart from going to the corner shop to buy beer a few moments ago, probably the most exciting thing to have happened today is the release of the Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross soundtrack to the forthcoming film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Karen O doing Immigrant Song is a belter.

We've given up on the books for now. They're going back upstairs and we'll try again after Xmas.
