Sunday 11 December 2011: Santa Dash 2011
I popped into George Square and took a few pictures of the start of this year's Santa Dash. I remember last year's event was postponed due to the snow conditions.
The event raises thousands for charities and good causes, and there are hundreds of participants of all ages dressed in santa suits, and even a few celebrity runners. This year the main beneficiaries will be the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow and the children's charity Barnardo's
I took quite a few pictures including several of entrepreneur Michelle Mone, but didn't really get anything I liked (I think I was too tired after a late night!). This one will have to do.
