Sunday 11 December 2011: The Low Sun

As could have been predicted, I was a shoe-in for the much coveted wooden spoon award at the Corinthians. I was much gratified to find that it wasn't some cheaply sourced cookshop wooden spoon, but actually a proper trophy. The photographer from Yachting Life was there so I felt obliged to adopt a Victorian type Corinthian pose, reclining in the foreground in front of the seated racing trophy winners. What a card, eh?
Talking of cards, I haven't even started. Groan. Tree up, though. I may even open my special Christmas bottle and toast the Good Lord who does look over us. I shall not want. He maketh me down to lie down in green pastures and on occasion on the FCYC grey carpet. Cheers!
