The Wall

The Wall came to our tiny town due to an enormous fund-raising effort. It was an emotional weekend for many people. I felt very lucky not to have a loved one on the wall. At the same time, it reminded me of a very difficult time in America's history. I was a teenager when we pulled out of Viet Nam, and I have several friends who are veterans.

Thank you to all you veterans who had the courage to protect our freedom.
