Monday 12 December 2011: Hi-ho Silver
The Great Granny gave Bella two pairs of riding gloves, her very own grooming brush and two bags of horse treats for her birthday, so she was very pleased to try them all out this afternoon.
I, on the other hand, wasn't too pleased to be standing in the brass monkey winds of East Lothian for half an hour with only two horses wearing gimp masks for company (friendly though they were) as she trotted up to the top of the hill and back.
