Thursday 8 December 2011: Smear
This pretty much sums up my view of the day - staring at various wet and windy bits of English countryside from a non-moving train.
Left home at 0710 to catch a train to Oxford for a meeting at 1540. Due to arrive Oxford at 1414. Gave up at Birmingham, when it became clear the earliest I was getting to Oxford was 1715... ah well, did get an unexpected visit to big Sis out of it.
