Surf School

This was taken at Nobbys Beach this evening on my way home. It has been a miserable day but the sun had come out and was highlighting bits of the beach and sea. The kids seemed to spend a lot of time running in and out of the water and not actually surfing but all looked like they were having a good time.

It is not Summer here at the moment. 19C (66F) which is what it was when I took this shot just doesn't cut it for me. Apparently we have had our coldest start to Summer since sliced bread or some other important date. A letter of complaint has been written to the weather gods. More miserable weather is on the way. Santa better be wearing a drizabone (type of oilskin for those not familiar).
