Wednesday 14 December 2011: First Snow on the Mendips
Today saw the first snow of the winter round our way; it was raining in Street this morning, but we headed to Shepton Mallet for some last bits of Christmas shopping and, as often happens when you get up the hill at Pilton, the weather changed and we were greeted by scenes like this. As you can (just about!) see, there was no snow back on the Tor.
