A dusting of snow doon the watter

I was in Rothesay this morning for a constituency surgery. There had been a light fall of snow in the early hours, and the contrast between the palm trees on the esplanade and the snowy hill behind caught my eye as I parked outside the Bute Advice Centre.

Between those two features lies the Winter Gardens which this morning had a light frosting of white on its' cast iron roof whilst round the balcony the Christmas decorations were on display.
