Not a Ladder

I was still acting as chauffeur for C (and Miss Annie) today. Annie and I walked around Fairhaven down near the Cruise Terminal while C was at her appointment.

The colors and textures of this old building caught my eye as the light was fading. I chose this shot because I liked the tantalizing glimpse of the interior.

What I initially thought was a truncated ladder is actually a couple of water or gas (compressed air?) pipes.
