Saturday 17 December 2011: I'm glad I am a chef

The aftermath.. We had a Christmas party on last night. 20 people. Today, as we had no guests staying, there was no breakfast service. I came in at 10 to do the mise en place for today and tomorrow. Noone else came in until 12 when the waitress was due. She came in at 12 for lunch service to find this. Nothing had been cleared off the tables from last night. All the glasses, coffee cups, mess, all still there. Lovely... The bosses were working last night. What is the saying? 'lead by example'?

Another party tonight, I'm working tomorrow as well, be interesting if the same happens.
