Been away most of the week but back now (for a few days at least). It's always nice to get back to your own sofa, your own little mess, your own corner of the planet.

These are the stars looking East from my bit of the planet but, aware that my camera sensor isn't the best in the world, some of these stars are almost certainly just dead pixels - screaming out their misguided digital information to help confuse the casual astronomical mind. It may appear, for example, that Taurus has three horns and that Orion's belt is actually a rather fetching clutch bag.
