The lost art of sending Christmas cards...

I LOVE sending cards, postcards letters... Obviously I send emails and Facebook messages to catch up with people but nothing beats the postman bringing you something handwritten!

Christmas is the perfect time to send a card to someone you haven't spoke to in a while with a quick note asking how they are. And to your colleagues to let them know you appreciate them.

But each year I am more and more surprised by how few people send cards and instead will text or email saying they're 'not doing cards this year as they're a waste of time.'

It seems such a shame as receiving cards are such a treat! But are cards dying out?
