Swans and Seals

Not the best shot, technically, of the day. But how often do you get Mute Swans and Seals in the same frame? Up early-ish, headed to the Ythan mouth at Newburgh to spend an hour or so with my brother before meeting our mum in Aberdeen to pick her up from her do, do some Christmas shopping, and have lunch.

The place teems with life. I've blipped the seals before. On arriving there was a Kestrel hovering under the moon; and the whole while the seals stuck by their nosey nature. But the best shot, in my opinion, was of a teeny flying Sanderling.

Town; shops; Wagamama for lunch; Starbuck's for coffee before hopping back in the car; easy drive home.
