That'll be a Redshank to you and me........!!

Apparently the Redshank is one of our more common waders. They can be found around our coast's, estuaries, inland marshes and wetlands. I've seen quite a few over the last couple of weeks, just in one's or two's, not in any large numbers.

I caught this guy this morning breakfasting in Portsmouth Harbour, just off Sovereign Avenue, Gosport.
