Wednesday 21 December 2011: 2007 ...
... was the year I moved to the US. Snow (in these quantities anyway) was a bit of a novelty, and I dragged the Beloved outside a lot.
Much has changed ;)
There was a lot of adjusting to do. I was not only getting used to living in a different country with different customs and speaking a different language 24/7 - I was also getting used to being a wife and living with my husband.
There were tears. Many. Rivers of them. Flooding rivers of them.
There was adjusting from the Beloved too - from dedicated and convinced bachelor to wiper of tears. It's a dirty job but he signed up for it :)
We made a special trip recently to get me my 2011 ornament, which doesn't really fit the others but it was all they had left. It doesn't really matter anyway.
I Blipped the 2006 ornament in 2010. If I keep this tempo up, this years will be Blipped in 2015. Go me.
