Scotland The World Over

It's guid to be merry and wise, It's guid to be honest and true, It's guid to support Caledonia's cause, And bide by the buff and the blue!

Robert Burns

Some favorites, my Nana, Ruth Sandidge Hill Josselyn, daughter of a Scot. Her mother, Betsey Johnston Wallace Hill, left Strathmiglo, Scotland in 1866 for Indiana, USA at six months old. She traveled at that young age with her siblings and parents, William Balfour Wallace and Betsey Craigie Wallace on a long sea voyage. AND some lovely Scottish ales, with Raspberry checking the delicious one, long gone, that I had with dinner last night. As you see, I come from a long line of Betseys, a name here that identifies the bearer as well over 55 these days!

Raspberry and I took part in Scotland The World Over!

For the Record,
This day came in unseasonably warm for the first day of winter
