Monday 19 December 2011: Cape Kiwanda Cliffs

This morning we had climbed the cliffs to catch the sunrise. It was ok, but not as nice as I had hoped.

After our morning sunrise at Kiwanda we visited the Drift Creek Falls. A wonderful hike, but the falls wasn't as pretty as it once was because of a recent landslide.

This image is from tonight's sunset at Cape Kiwanda. It was the second time we climbed the cliffs today. The light was much better this evening and I loved the pink in the clouds. We were so tired after all the hiking we did today that we went to bed at 7 pm right after dinner. We slept for eleven hours!
