Friday 23 December 2011: Ready for "The Cone Gatherers"
I spent the morning in my constituency office in Dunoon. Driving back home early this afternoon the winter sun was already low in the sky. But just above Loch Striven, alongside the Glenstriven Estate it suddenly gleamed through the pine trees.
It struck me as being like a shot from the film of "The Cone Gatherers" but that film, alas, is still to be made. I suppose the thought was because someone had been talking to me not an hour before about the book and about a new stage version that may tour Scotland next year.
