Friday 23 December 2011: Cold front

I vaguely remember from school geography lessons that a warm front starts with light rain or drizzle and a cold front starts with a downpour. I await guidance and correction to these simplistic ideas from those who know better.

Anyway, this cold front started with a deluge.
