A ghost of Christmas past ...

Rudolph's on his last legs;
he's got arthritic knees.
But still his nose is shiny
and as red as Edam cheese,
and - look - the sleigh is full again;
he's always keen to please.

That's the best poetic effort I can manage today! :-)

Rudolph comes out every Christmas and dates back to 1982 when my (then, three-year-old) son and I made him together, following Blue Peter instructions. No, I don't mean they told us we had to make one; they demonstrated how to make him and his sleigh! He he. Poor Rudolph has been unable to stand for some years now, but we still love him. (Well, I do, anyway!)
