Polish Christmas Eve - Wigilia

You can't beat fluorescent tubes, especially if they can be made into glasses. It was very close for the comedy to become a tragedy as Hanna lost the major element connecting the tubes. Mr H emptied the whole bin onto the kitchen floor and found it. Thank goodness!

We had a lovely Christmas Eve in Polish style with our Venezuelan friends. A lot of the numerous traditions were followed, except for 12 dishes. There is now way we could have eaten more than we did.

We decided to go with the English tradition of Christmas morning gift unwrapping. So no lie-in for us.
