Saturday 24 December 2011: Christmas Eve Message
The usurpers turned over! It is our right to claim (a distant) third place in the league. Surely. Today the Lanarkshire impostors were turned over. The scoreline flattered them. You heard it here first.
So, it was up for a Christmas Eve pint amongst the throng. And you'd have thought they would have wanted to head straight home! It did thin out (above) and it was time to step. Presents to lay out beneath the tree. For entertainment of the visitor, I shall select a Dad's Army episode, and once the drink has rendered it sozzled, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Ha! Where's that bowl of nuts? And later.. the Christmas dram!
Get those excited kids off to bed blippers! Nighty night!
