Merry Christmas Blipland.


A very good one here: the traditional opening-of-stockings in my mum's bed followed by breakfast and a visit from Grandparent Set No.1. A present opening session with tea and shortbread, then a walk up the road to Grandparent Set No.2 for lunch, crackers, the Queen, more presents, and Blackadder.

My Grandad was on top form today, quite a few conversations went like so:
"Rosie*, wouldn't you like a chocolate?"
"Oh no thank you, I'm ok"
"Ohhh you would really, go on!"
"No, I'm still quite full from lunch, it's really ok"
"I think you really would though, there's a box on the stairs"
"Seriously. I'm fine thank you"
"Well I would like one! I'm trying to be polite! Could you get me the box please!"

I took A LOT of photos today, but mostly fairly cheesy family snapshots. Me and my brother also found a semi-creative use of time while we waited for our lunch.
