Tuesday 27 December 2011: Christmas fun
This is my 6th Christmas in NZ and I still feel unbridled joy at watching people enjoy the sunshine and in this case river in the middle of what I always think of as a 'winter season'. I knew if I took the camera down to the Rock Snot today that I would find people in the water and I was not Disappointed. Lots of swimmers and kayakers about in the 30 degree heat.
Back home now sitting in front of a fan with one of my christmas books ' The Scottish Prisoner' (thanks sis, loving it already)
