Christmas Day

T got up early to feed the cattle, which normally takes a couple of hours, while N and I went to the little church in the valley. The local farmer was there with his large family of grandchildren and several neighbours. The service was followed by mulled wine and homemade biscuits.

Several hours later the three of us where enjoying Christmas lunch with, of course, a turkey reared in the village, followed by Christmas pudding! The traditional three o'clock viewing of the Queen's message and then shuteye for a while. We had opened a few presents somewhere along the line. It was a very cosy time compared with last year when we braved the ice and snow and drove in T's truck to Glastonbury for the day - where we had a good time with friends.

A happy and peaceful Christmas to everyone!

I have just noticed T's paperhat is upside down!
