Tuesday 27 December 2011: Not Fast Food

Down to Queensferry for a lunchtime eat. It would have been quicker over the road (above). Strewth. They kept apologising for the delay. And refilling the glasses (I was driving, grrr!). But two and a half hours? Thing is, it's hard work for the old grannies too - they tire quickly. Still afterwards, we got a brief stroll. In the nearly bloody dark.
As for the rest of the day, I got the first part of my weather station set up! Whhhoo-hooo! And I have something good to read - Scotland: Mapping the Nation. I am told there are people who do not care for maps, and I find it hard to believe (Robert Louis Stevenson). Right, I've been good all day. Time to break out the grog.
