Tuesday 27 December 2011: Maguire Goodbye
Today I did very little. I did some reading, got my bike fixed, tended to cats, pedaled between feline dwellings, watched a fim, and saw to a some correspondence. I slept through hours when most others were up and active, and what I did see of the daylight was drenched in steady rain. There was not much to blip and I made no effort to find something special.
It occurs to me now that I probably won't be seeing any more of Maguire after his human handlers return from their travels and pack him off to his new home. My two earlier blips of him did not capture his open eyes or the way he spreads his luxurious self across a random surface, as one does who knows his birthright.
Goodbye, Maguire. It's been good having you as a friend.
