Oldness

It struck me a while ago that photographing and editing flowers was a similar excercise to photographing people. I have been retouching portraits in a sympathetic manner recently so I thought this weeks "oldness" challenge was an excuse to do the opposite.

These flowers aren't that old, and still acceptable in the vase. Indeed with a bit of smoothing they look good. Playing with the over-sharpening ages them hugely.

Still enjoying the Christmas break - been very lazy today. I promise myself to do more tommorrow - including a trip to the gym!
