Wednesday 28 December 2011: Goniometer
..from two Greek words, gonia, meaning angle, and metron, meaning measure, this elegant little tool is of particular use to physical therapists to measure range of motion in a joint. Today's good news is that the Mister has much greater range in his fingers since beginning physical therapy. Since he is still not driving, I get to go to all these interesting places; today we played with skeletons and a really cool life-size color-coded model of all the tendons, muscles and ligaments in the hand.
