The lighting trick

Eric (eo) asked to see my lighting set up, so as I cannot be bothered to titivate yesterday's leftover cottage pie for a close-up, here is the lighting revealed.
Or not quite, as there's also a bit of soft fill to left of camera. The front and top fill are both under-exposed by about 2 stops.
The light on the left is a focussing flash spotlight, a damned handy tool, but the trickery is the kitchen cloths..
