Firth of Fresh

Rather bracing that was. In the best brass monkey/soaked through/can't feel your cheeks (either set) sense.

Camera stayed mostly tucked away against the driving wind and the horizontal ice shards but caught this just before it turned for the worst. You can see it turning up there, which just happened to coincide with the exact point that was furthest from the car if I kept going or turned back. Either way it was straight into the wind and rain so I took a five minute shelter behind the pile of rocks over there on the right of the photo to pack everything away. There was a big sheep sheltering in there too but the weather was so bad it didn't bolt and happily stayed there eyeing me up... well... sheepishly. Either that, or it liked my aftershave.

Back home to a fluffy towel and a warming glass of red wine.

PS: Many thanks for all the comments and favourites on yesterday's; there was another belter of a rainbow again today but I thought there's enough repeats on the TV just now without going down that route on here. Cheers all!
