Thursday 29 December 2011: Tricky Fishing
Today I met up with Pete for a bit of grayling fishing. It had been organised a couple of weeks ago so the weather conditions were unknown.
Aagh! It was horrible, raining, really windy and cold. Not helped by the fact that I had dressed completely inadequately for the conditions.
Pete as is usual had the perfect clothing and the weather didn't bother him at all, in fact he was practically reveling in it!
Our total catch was
Pete 1 grayling
Me I trout (which doesn't count as it's out of season).
