Friday 30 December 2011: Rainy day rose
Lovely steady rain today, so good for the garden. The ferns were starting to look very sad and their leaves were crisping up, so the rain is most welcome. Really hoping it's raining in Christchurch so our poor garden is still alive. Probably shouldn't have bothered with a vegie garden, esp if level 4 water restrictions come into effect as promised.
Another blow from the quakes.
But here the roses are weighed down with water, and it's so good to see it. And the scent in the garden is amazing
