Thursday 29 December 2011: Shady Oaks
Today I left the house early with the neighbors daughter as my "cohort in crime" and off we went to the Circle B Bar Reserve located in Lakeland, FL. She got a new camera for Christmas and I've been wanting to visit there for months. Eight miles of walking and 500 shots later, I chose this one as my blip today. I plan on posting some to flickr later on. A very fun time.
The Circle B is 1267 acre environmental area that at one time had been a cattle ranch. The wildlife is amazing. We saw birds of every kind, turtles, wild pigs and beautiful landscapes. It is a place you can visit again and again and I plan on it.
