Waiting in the China Cabinet - No New Years Party

The china will stay in the cabinet tomorrow. We have decided to cancel the New Years Eve party. I hoped I'd be well enough to do it but realized last night that just wasn't going to happen. So I'm canceling the party. I called my friends from Seattle who were coming up tonight and Chris has a bad cold too. He sounded awful.

The little ceramic cat is one I made at a "paint it yourself" place years ago. I made one of Pogo, who is no longer alive, and one of Fiona, who is very much alive at 18. This is the Fiona one. I just realized that last year's photo on this date is of Fiona the Queen herself.
