I don't usually do a lot for Hogmanay, but this year I've decided to go out with my sister A, and her partner to one of the local pubs. Table's booked for 8 for a meal and then I'm sure we'll have a few drinks before (and after) midnight.

Thought I'd start the night with a pre-dinner cocktail. French Martini's are so easy to make but very tasty.

Hope you all have a safe and happy Hogmanay, and that the hangover's aren't too bad the first day of 2012.
