Saturday 31 December 2011: Ayrshire Pagoda

I was out running this morning in Culzean Country Park and came across this pagoda near the Swan Pond. It was built in 1815 by the Kennedy Family and was used to house exotic animals and birds. It was restored in 1997 and is a striking feature on top of a hill by the Firth of Clyde coastline.
