I resolve
not to complain
at the drop of a hat

I resolve
to make even more fuss
of my cat

I resolve
to phone my Mum
every day

I resolve
to be patient with those
who have nothing to say

I resolve
not to let my life
be ruled by blip

I resolve
to put away
the big whip

but not the handcuffs
and all the fun stuff
like that

I resolve
not to drop
my hat
