Sunday 1 January 2012: Out The Window
A lazy arsed shot from our window last night. Lots of good intentions got blown to blazes by apathy and New Years Day bum-on-couch blues. We had superb food mutually prepared followed by cheese, port and at least three too many episodes of "The Wire" season five. The fireworks didn't last as long as they used too when I first moved here, I guess the finances aren't as good as they were. The first year I was here (10 years ago) I thought the the town had gone insane - every street saw folk letting off the biggest fireworks in a kind of keeping up with the Jones sort of way. Scary stuff, nothing like it last night.
Work tomorrow, oh joy.
