Sunday 1 January 2012: Grey, Grey and Grey is what the Gods said today.
I awoke to 35 knot winds, freezing temperatures, blowing snow and grey skies. Not exactly what I had dreamed of to herald in the new year. Even the pups did not want to venture outdoors today. If nature can be miserable, today was the day for such.
I grabbed my daughters Sony NEX and headed to the market to remind myself that not everything was frozen and dormant. Fresh flowers and veggies caught my eye as did the funky onboard filters. Not a perfect blip but a bit if color in my day none the less.
I hope you all had a fantastic start to 2012.
