Sunday 1 January 2012: Day six: Halong Bay
Left Hanoi this morning for overnight cruise on Halong Bay.
The journey first: I know I may seem obsessed with traffic but really - it's mad. The Vietnamese "Highway Code" must be a very short tome. Death around every corner, and there are lots of corners. And three more hours of it tomorrow. Yikes.
Halong Bay is though definitely worth the risk. Bit overcast and misty but think that just means we've seen a different Halong Bay. The bright blue/green is nice I'm sure, but the pastel/grey equally so.
And that's quite enough typing on tiny iPhone keyboard for me.
