Tuesday 8 July 2008: Finished!

Well the job is finally finished, and the house is waterproof again.
What's more, after a winter of gales the roof structure didn't move an millimeter under my weight on the ladders!
Things are still a bit of a mess inside, so the branch of the family who are heading up next week will still have to sort out all the furniture (either in the shed or under tarpaulins in a corner) and clean up, but the main mission has been accomplished!!!
Once again today it started raining as soon as I finished, but I managed to nip outside with the camera to get a quick snap in a momentary lull.
Thanks very much for coming up with me to get the job finished Dad - much appreciated!
