Monday 2 January 2012: Roadtrip!!
We decided to go on an adventure today, so we drove down to Queenscliff and took the ferry (with the car) over to Sorrento, and then we were going to drive all around the Mornington Peninsula doing a great big loop back home and stop off at loads of places along the way.
Yeah, it didn't happen like that. We got to Sorrento ate, faffed and carried on a bit. It was about 40? I believe and so hot even the air con wasn't cooling us down that much. So we went to a beach and had a splash around. It was very refreshing, although I may be fishing sand out of my hair for the next few days.
This guy was on his bodyboard and whilst it looks like he's getting wiped out he's actually in the middle of a barrel roll type thing...
