Friday 23 December 2011: Icy

We had booked rooms a couple of months ago at the premier inn, so that we could take the kids to winter wonderland before heading up north for Christmas.
Rooms sorted, extra layers of clothes on, and we headed out to walk down to Princes Street. So funny, the kids were real country bumpkins..'Oooh, look the streets are sooo smoooth'... ' I know, did you know they are paved with gold Lily?'
But, they loved the lights and the big wheel and the shows. Rohan learned to ice skate very very slowly, but unsurprisingly, on her owe 'I don't want you to hold my hand Daddy'. Lily learned that she doesn't like ice skating, but definitely loves the mini rollercoaster. And Noah loves hot doughnuts.
