Tuesday 3 January 2012: What the future holds, or preparing for baby
Handwashing the baby's clothes for when s/he is born. Slightly strange to be washing clothes before they've even been worn, before it's even been born. And such tiny little things!
Some of the items I've knitted have travelled with me all over the country so will probably benefit from washing ... but part of me wonders about all this. After all, babies are exposed to all kinds of bacteria from the minute they are born .. surely there are worse things out there than what might be found on clothes?!
We are now nearly completely prepared, should things 'happen early' .... the baby is still tranverse though so hopefully will turn before that crucial day!
