Tuesday 3 January 2012: Penny for your thoughts...

First day back at work and came home thinking - have we been off for Christmas? :)

Tuesday nights are always spent with my sister and her family. By this point I hadn't taken one shotof anything. I decided to leave the car at home and take a run to my sisters house (5.4K) needed to burn off some of those extra pounds put on as a result of living it up like a Lord over the festive period! So off armed with camera, thinking whilst on route I would see something that would caught my eye.

Arrived, still no snaps..., Whilst sitting in my sisters kitchen I spotted the candle stick holder in the sitting room and lit the candles and took some shots. I turn round and there is my neice staring into the flickering flames and "Snap" todays blip!

Because she looked like she was a million miles away, I played about with the image to make it represent the mood at the time taken. I don't do people shots, so this is a first.
