Wednesday 4 January 2012: Bake well, well baked

Our new Kitchen Aid mixer /swoon/ begged to be used tonight, for both bread dough and a bakewell tart. In truth, I swapped the pastry making for doing it by hand, more satisfying than watching it go round in a mixer, even a sexy one like the KA. The results: delicious.
