Wednesday 4 January 2012: Birthday Treat
Whilst eating dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, we watched another diner get a birthday flan with song. The Birthday Boy was gracious enough to let me blip it!

This restaurant has been at this location for 51 years!
The present owner was a busboy/dishwasher when it first opened. He went off to college, got a degree in Law, came back home to San Diego to practice law, but kept in touch with the original owners. They finally decided to retire and he bought the business! The food is great, the service is great, the servers (many long-timers) are great! I recommend you try it, whenever you get the chance to visit San Diego.
